Ron Zacapa, Edición Negra

Edicion Negra is a rum that stands out quite a bit from the Zacapa family, and it was done on purpose. It may be important to know that Ron Zacapa Edicion Negra was created to be “something completely different from his sister rums”. Because it really is. On the outside – and in the basic palette it is similar to the Zacapa 23, but at the top is a completely different layer. This has been aged in double charred American oak barrels, resulting in smoky elements coming through the thick brown sugar and chocolate notes.
