USA Single Malt, 40% ABV
A single malt whiskey from Cedar Ridge in Iowa, made exclusively from 2-row pale malted barley. After ageing in a whole range of oak barrels, including wine barrels from the Cedar Ridge winery, the liquid is then finished in a solera system. It’s complex and rich without being overly sweet.
| NOSE | Toffee apple, heather honey and fresh orchard fruit, with aromas of caramelised nuts. |
| PALATE | Less sweet than the nose suggests, with dry notes of leather, vanilla oak and melted dark chocolate, with a hint of menthol and rich, juicy wine notes. |
| FINISH | A dry, smoky, lengthy finish with a hit of oak spice. |
